Bulletin #5     Are you ready for the Games?

Team Southern California The Games are a little over two months away. Do you have your plans in order?

Here’s what you need to do:  If you have not already made your accommodations, do so NOW! Don’t delay! Call Disney Travel at (407) 939-7810. The team hotel is the ALL STAR MOVIES, however it may already be too late to stay at that hotel. You may also wish to try the ALL STAR MUSIC or the ALL STAR SPORTS.

Mail in your registration and competition forms ASAP! Many sports are very popular and you may miss out in the competition. Make sure you provide your transplant physician’s name and phone number and check off which type of transplant you’ve had and whether it’s from a cadaver donor, living-related donor or living un-related donor.

REGISTRATIONS ARE DUE APRIL 21! The National deadline is May 1, but you must get it in to me by April 21 in order to assure your registration reaches the National office by the deadline. I CANNOT ASSURE THAT YOU WILL BE REGISTERED IF YOUR REGISTRATION IS RECEIVED AFTER APRIL 21. THE NATIONAL OFFICE MAY NOT HONOR LATE REGISTRATIONS. National has already mailed registration materials. If you have not received these materials, please call me and I will mail one out to you.

Disney will mail medical waivers to each participant once their registration is received. Please give these 4-6 weeks. Once your physician has completed the waiver, please mail it back to me.

In order to assure sponsorship eligibility, $300 must be received by June 3rd. Please note that each team member must pay all costs in advance. Reimbursements will be made upon return from the Games; remember to save your receipts!

If you have any questions or need any help or ideas, please do not hesitate to call me at the Foundation office at 800-747-5527.

-Jeanette
